How long do the visits take?Your first two visits will typically last 45-60 minutes. After the first two visits, a typical visit takes between 5-15 minutes. If you would like to schedule additional time to talk one-on-one about a particular issue, just speak to our team and we would be happy to accommodate you.
-
What is included in the first visit? The first visit will give us an opportunity to connect with you, listen to your concerns, and discuss goals for your health. We will conduct a one-on-one consultation to explore your past and current experiences that have contributed to where you are now. You will also receive a full neurological evaluation to help us assess how your spine and nervous system are functioning. If recommended by Dr. John, chiropractic postural x-rays will be taken as well.
-
Will I need x-rays?Every person and case is different. Which is why we spend time discussing your health history and performing thorough assessments. We have a saying in our office that, "to see is to know, and to not see is to guess". The last thing we ever want to do is make guesswork of your health. Dr. John will determine if you need diagnostic imaging, as these specific, chiropractic postural x-rays (taken on-site) help us understand if there are any problem areas in the structure and what the integrity of your spine is. These images show areas of degeneration, loss of disc space between the bones, lack of or abnormal curvature, and even the start of compensating curvatures. Any contraindications, limitations and more accurate expectations for your results are revealed.
-
How much will the visits cost? Not only is chiropractic proven to be effective in treating a variety of ailments, it's also extremely cost-effective. Studies have shown that chiropractic patients and insurance companies save significantly on healthcare costs such as hospitalizations, surgeries, medications and more! Because every person and situation is different, it's difficult to know exactly how much your care will cost before Dr. John has a chance to evaluate you. After you complete the initial visit of the consultation and assessments, Dr. John will be able to determine your recommendations for care and a plan of action to help you reach your health goals. At your second visit, all financials will be explained and questions answered. It is important to us to keep care affordable for the whole family, so we have a variety of options available to you.
-
Do you accept insurance? We are in-network with most major insurance companies. On your first visit, please bring your driver’s license and health insurance card and we will do a complimentary benefits check for you. No insurance? No problem! Our office is part of a federal discount program that allows us to legally discount care to help make our services more affordable. No matter what, you will always be informed of any cost prior to receiving a service.
-
What happens after I book an appointment?Scheduling the appointment is the first step towards your road to healing. After you submit your appointment request, you will receive a text message through our SKED system to confirm your appointment and instructions will be provided to complete our new practice member form online. Completing the form online will save you about 15-20 minutes in our office. However, if you are unable to complete the form online we will have the form ready for you to complete when you arrive at your first appointment. If at any time you have a schedule conflict, please give us a call so we can make accommodations or reschedule your visit.
