The Ignite Approach

Nervous-system centered care + state of the art technology

Chiropractic does not treat one single condition; instead, it restores normal body function.  Dr. John works with your nervous system via gentle spinal adjustments, which reduce stress-related interference to your nervous system, thereby enhancing overall body function.  All systems in your body — circulatory, digestive, eliminatory, hormonal, glandular, immunological, muscular, reproductive, respiratory, and skeletal — depend on the proper function of your nervous system.  This approach allows for true healing to take place rather than just a bandage approach of only addressing your symptoms.

Torque Release Technique

Torque Release Technique (TRT) is a tonal approach that utilizes the Integrator, a gentle adjusting instrument. Through the specific analysis, Dr. John can identify where and if there is nerve interference down to the vertebral level. He then administers very gentle, specific chiropractic adjustments using the Integrator. These adjustments are delivered while the spine is in a perfectly neutral and relaxed position, so TRT is a great route for those who are apprehensive about the traditional chiropractic adjustment.

The major advantage of the integrator is its ability to deliver a specific and gentle adjustment at a reproducible frequency at the exact location where nerve function has become compromised. TRT is used to stimulate your nervous system (a “jump-start” for your body’s electrical system) in such a way that it will release and reduce tension, allowing your body to self-correct.

CLA INSiGHT Technology

CLA INSiGHT scans are digital, non-invasive, and painless tests that show us how your body is reacting to your life’s stressors. We use three types of scans in our office: a gentle rolling scanner of thermography up your spine, surface electromyography, and a heart rate variability scan.

Together, these scans measure how your nerves communicate with your muscles, how your nerves communicate with your organs, and how your nervous system is adapting to stress.

Using them makes it possible for us to accurately detect dysfunction in your nervous system beyond what you may be feeling or experiencing as symptoms. This is important for achieving true correction and healing, not just symptom management.

They do not cause any discomfort and don’t take much time at all. They’re safe and gentle for your entire family — even newborns!

Webster Technique & Prenatal Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care in pregnancy is vital to the normal physiological function of both you and your baby throughout pregnancy and birth. Research shows that prenatal chiropractic care contributes to a more straightforward labor with less pain and trauma for both the mother and baby and can improve the balance and alignment of the spine and pelvis, providing a more comfortable pregnancy and delivery! By restoring balance to the nervous system through gentle and specific nervous system-centered chiropractic adjustments, optimal function to the reproductive organs is restored thus supporting the needs of your baby throughout pregnancy.

The Webster technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and diversified adjustment. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of subluxation and/or SI joint dysfunction. In doing so, neurobiomechanical function in the sacral/pelvic region is improved.

Sacral subluxation can contribute to difficult labor for the mother (i.e., dystocia), caused by inadequate uterine function, pelvic contraction, and baby mal-presentation.
